Grand Hotel Europe – one of the oldest hotel in Russia – is situated in the very centre of St Petersburg. The building’s magnificent baroque façade was designed by the Italian architect Rossi in early 19th century. After its latest reconstruction, the hotel preserved its air of antique times but all of its rooms have been completely refurbished.

Following extensive renovation, the building re-opened in December 1991 as the Grand Hotel Europe.
