Day 1 |

Transfer from Moscow to Alexandrov. Guided tour of the Alexandrovskaya Sloboda, the country seat of Ivan the IV (Terrible) highlighting the legends and secrets of Alexandrovskaya Sloboda, followed by a small Czar’s banquet and entertainment. Lunch at the Lira cafe, departure to Pereslavl-Zalessky. Guided tour of the local Red Square and the Transfiguration Cathedral accompanied by a tale about the life of Alexander Nevsky. A visit to the museum-estate The Botik of Peter the Great will provide an introduction into the history of the foundation of the Russian marine, and the life of Peter I the Great. Transfer to Yaroslavl. Hotel check-in. Dinner. |

Breakfast. Guided tour of the Yaroslavl city with a visit of the Saviour Monastery and the Church of Elijah the prophet. Lunch. Departure to Rostov the Great. Guided tour of the Rostov monasteries accompanied by a tale of the city history and the lives of the founder of the Rurik Dynasty as well as the reign of his last descendant, Ivan IV the Terrible. Return to Yaroslavl. Dinner in a traditional Russian restaurant. |

Breakfast. Departure to Kostroma. Check-in at the Volga hotel. Guided tour of the city with a look at several churches accompanied by the history of the Godunov family, the Time of Troubles and the beginning of the new royal dynasty. Lunch. Guided tour of the Ipatyevsky monastery with a stop at the Trinity Cathedral and the Romanovs’ Tomb. This tour presents the history of the House of Romanov and its connections with the Rurik dynasty. Dinner. |

ÇBreakfast. Departure to Vladimir. Lunch at the restaurant By the Golden Gate. Guided tour of the city, with stops at the Assumption Cathedral, the Nunnery, the Golden Gate as well as St. Demetrius Cathedral will present an opportunity to look at the life and actions of the Romanov House members Andrei Bogolyubsky and Vsevolod III the Big Nest. Departure to Bogolyubovo. A visit to the residence of Andrei Bogolyubsky followed by a stroll to the Church of the Intercession upon Nerl River. Dinner. |

Day 5 |

Breakfast. Guided tour of Suzdal city including the Suzdal Kremlin, Archbishops' Chambers, the Intercession Monastery and the monastery of our Savior and St. Euthimius followed by a concert of sacred music. This tour is dedicated to Prince Yury Dolgoruky, his life and his role in the ascent of the North Eastern Rus, his family and dynasty ties, as well as the lives of the royal wives and daughters. Lunch. Second part of the guided tour. Dinner. |
